In our experience, we have seen two types of GMAT test takers; those who are confident in their score (and they tend to be unapologetic about this), and those who approach MBAunlocked saying, “is my score good enough?”
Well, if you are asking if your score is “good enough,” you probably already know that it could have been better. Our advice for test takers: If you are not confident that your score will get you into your top choice schools, retake the test.
We have seen many outstanding applicants wait-listed or rejected due to low GMAT scores. In competitive times, you need to exceed expectations. The average test scores at top schools have been moving higher over the past few years, and this trend will likely continue given the expected high volume of applicants during the upcoming year. This is the time to commit to getting the score about which you feel confident.
